Is Hypex really free?
Yes. BYOK mode is free forever. You only pay if you choose Hypex Managed (we run inference for you).

      
Which models are supported?
Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Grok (xAI), Mistral, DeepSeek, Groq, and any local Ollama model. Anything OpenAI-compatible just works.

      
Is my code sent to your servers?
In BYOK mode, never. Your code goes directly to your chosen provider. In Hypex Managed mode, requests pass through our worker for billing — we don't store code.

      
How is this different from Cursor or Windsurf?
Cursor charges $20–60/mo with a closed model and lock-in. Hypex is open source, free in BYOK, and 30–50% cheaper on managed plans. Plus first-class kernel/driver dev support.
