What we collect

Minimal, opt-in telemetry: model selected, latency, error counts. No code, prompts, file names, or project content ever reach Hypex servers. Telemetry is disabled by default.

API keys

Provider API keys you enter are stored in your operating system's secret store (DPAPI on Windows) via the IDE SecretStorage API. They never leave your machine.

Third-party providers

When you send a prompt, the request goes directly from your machine to your chosen provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Ollama, etc.). Hypex acts as a client only. That provider's privacy policy governs what they do with your data.
