Hypex uses Stripe Embedded Checkout on a branded page at
hypex.pages.dev/checkout. Cards stay inside a Stripe iframe — Hypex never
sees a card number.
Which plan should I pick?
Quick decision tree:
- I have my own Anthropic key → Free (BYOK). Pay $0 to Hypex.
- I want Claude with no key management, light daily use (< $15 inference / mo) → Pro $20. Zero markup in-budget.
- I'm hitting Pro's $15 envelope before mid-month → Pro+ $40 ($32 face-value, +10% overage).
- I run agentic Plan mode all day, bill clients for Claude → Power $99 ($85 face-value, +5% overage, priority routing).
- 2-20 seat squad, shared codebase, central billing → Team $35 / seat.
- 20+ seats, SSO, audit, custom contract → Enterprise — email mre011512@gmail.com.

Founding 1000 — lifetime $399
One-time $399 payment for a lifetime Pro plan at locked-in features. Limited to the first 1 000 buyers or until 2026-06-30, whichever comes first.
- Lock-life price — your Pro tier never gets repriced, even if we raise Pro to $25 / $30 later.
- $0 face-value credits included — Founding covers the features tier (Hypex Managed access, MCP marketplace, cloud sync, hooks, signtool, remote SSH). You bring credits separately via top-ups or BYOK.

- 14-day refund window from purchase, no questions asked.
Why no included credits? Lifetime + recurring Anthropic cost = unsustainable. Founding gives you the platform forever; inference stays pay-as-you-go via top-ups (with the same Hybride C zero-markup rules as Pro).

Top-ups expire 12 months FIFO from purchase date. They're consumed before your monthly face-value credits each cycle (oldest dollars first), so you always burn expiring balance ahead of fresh allowance.

What happens on /checkout
- Page renders an order summary on the left and a Stripe iframe on the right.
- If signed out, you bounce to /signin?next=/checkout?plan=… — plan param preserved.
- Worker creates a Stripe Checkout Session in
ui_mode=embedded, returnsclientSecret. - Stripe.js mounts
stripe.initEmbeddedCheckout(...)in the right column. - You enter your card. Stripe validates, charges, redirects to
/checkout/return?session_id=cs_…. - Return page polls
/billing/checkout-statusuntilpayment_status=paid, then shows success.
Refund policy
- Monthly subscriptions (Pro / Pro+ / Power / Team) — pro-rata refund of the unused portion within 14 days of the most recent charge. Cancel anytime in Stripe Customer Portal — plan stays active until the period end.
- Top-ups — full refund for unused credit balance within 14 days of purchase.
- Founding 1000 lifetime — 14-day no-questions refund from purchase date.
- Auto-renew — monthly plans auto-renew on the anniversary date. Cancel before to stop the next charge.

FAQ
Q: What's the difference between BYOK and Hypex Managed?
BYOK = your Anthropic key, your Anthropic bill, $0 to Hypex. Managed = our key, you pay Hypex (Pro $20 etc.), we proxy Anthropic at cost. Same models, same speed.
Q: Will I be surprised by overage charges?
No. Overage is opt-in. With it off, hitting your envelope blocks the call and offers BYOK fallback / top-up / wait. With it on, you set a hard monthly $ cap that we never exceed without confirmation.
Q: Can I switch from Pro to Pro+ mid-month?
Yes — Stripe pro-rates the upgrade immediately and refills your face-value envelope to the new tier. Downgrades take effect at next renewal.
Q: Are top-ups consumed before plan credits?
Yes. FIFO across both buckets — oldest dollar first. So expiring top-ups always burn before fresh monthly allowance.
Q: Does Hypex see my card?
Never. Card number / CVC / expiry stay in Stripe's iframe. Hypex worker only stores the Stripe customer ID + subscription ID.
Cancellation
/account → "Manage subscription" → Stripe Customer Portal → Cancel.
Plan stays active until current_period_end; on that date the worker reverts you to Free. Top-up balance remains and stays valid for 12 months from each top-up's purchase date.
